You may support Starfish with your time, suggestions, resources, and/or finances.
We also appreciate your prayers!
TIME & TALENT
We need VOLUNTEERS to help with
homework and work one-on-one with students, especially in reading. Folks with
special skills such as craft makers, musicians, cooks, dancers, health
professionals, athletes and artists are also invited to lead workshops with the
children in your area of expertise. Stop by Starfish to pick up a full list of
volunteer requirements (assessment test required for teens); view a partial list below.
Volunteers must:

Be current high school students or older. |

Encourage and help kids in a proactive way. |
|
Behavior appropriately toward children and staff. |
|
Assist staff as needed (not just play the games). |
|
Undergo a police background check to ensure student safety. |

RESOURCES
Do you have an idea for a great activity for the Starfish kids? Do you own a
bowling alley, yacht, scary mansion or other fun thing you'd be willing to host
two dozen or so
excitedly screaming children? Please contact us!

with Starfish, making a commitment to give a certain amount each month.
